Hi, I’m Maggie.
I am a Minnesota licensed therapist and clinical supervisor specialized in treating
OCD & Anxiety
If any of this feels familiar — you’re not alone.
“I know my fears don’t seem reasonable to others, but they feel so real that I can’t just ignore them.”
“I get caught in the cycle of doing the compulsions, but they don’t help me long-term.”
“Why would my brain even think that? Is there something really wrong with me?”
“What if my doubts about myself are actually true?”
“I always feel on edge — like something bad is going to happen at any moment.”
The secret? There is nothing wrong with you.
I am passionate about helping people believe this. You can live with less anxiety and more peace. You can rediscover that you can, indeed, trust yourself.
Why should you work with me?
I believe in the power of telling your story.
I listen to your story first—long before I think about your symptoms. I’ve never met someone whose story didn’t make sense.
Many people fear, or have actually been told, that they are irrational, crazy, or “too much.” My favorite things to hear from those folks - “Oh…the way I feel does make sense”, “Of course my body learned to react this way,” or “No wonder I think that!”
I know that self-compassion is the foundation of healing.
Self-compassion is one of the most powerful—and most misunderstood—drivers of psychological change. When you constantly judge, shame, or critique yourself, your body responds as if you are in danger. This keeps your nervous system stuck.
“You are imperfect, you are wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.” - Brené Brown
I am dedicated to getting you out of the cycle.
OCD and anxiety aren’t just a few items on a long list of what I do—these are the core and the heart of my work. I specialize in the most evidence-based, effective treatments created specifically for OCD and anxiety disorders. I consult with the best and brightest minds in this area, and I will never stop learning more.
